Club Lotto & Bingo:
On Saturday 9th July 2011 the Hillview Lotto was worth €3,100.  The numbers drawn were 1-2-3-18 and there was No Winner and there were 2 people with 3 numbers, each received €50.00.
Next weeks Lotto will take place on Saturday 16h July.  The Jackpot will now be worth €3,200.  Tickets are €1 each and can be bought from ticket sellers and at the Club Bar.  Buy-ins are also now due, €45.00 for 1 year.  If you’re not in you can’t win.

The club bingo takes place every Monday Night in St. Mary’s Hall in Irishtown, Clonmel.  The books are not expensive and the prizes are good.  Come along and enjoy the evening.  Congratulations to last week’s winner of our Jackpot.

Pool Competition:
Tim Shanley and Matty Boyle will run a pool competition every Friday night starting at 9.00p.m.  Any person interested turn up on the night.  Entry fee will be €3.00 per-person.

Tennis:
Adult Open Americans:
Nice turn out last week on the Americano front, with a number of new participants gracing the court for the first time. This was great to see. Come on everyone else get out and give it a swing!  Regular members and friends and green fee participants are all welcome to Hillview on Friday night 7.30p.m.

South Tipp League:
Club has two teams out on the South Tipp league.  The Premier are playing Cashel, while the first Division take on Emily away.
 
Junior Tennis: Hillview Open week:
Our Club Junior Open Week will take place from Monday 8th August to Saturday 13th August 2011.  Entry forms will be distributed this week to all clubs and available online from club website. Get this into your calendar.

Junior Open Circuit:
Hillview players were out in force last week in Castleview in Carrig on Suir. Andrew Duncan lifted the boys U 14singles.Jayne O Gorman topped the bill with a fine win in the Girls U 16 singles and a runner up spot in the girls U 14 singles. Meanwhile in Tipp County Jayne and her partner Mairead O Connor were runners up in the U 14 doubles the week before last. Well done Jayne.

Junior Open American:
Come on kids get yourself to Hillview Tues/ Thurs 10am for  tennis matches organised by Ella & Betty. These friendlies should be good fun and not to be missed.

Pitch and Putt:
Burke & Casey Cups:
The above Ladies and Gent’s Cups took place on Friday 8th July 2011.  Despite the weather there was a good entry on the day.  The scores were good.  The results are as follows: Ladies Casey Cup: Winner was Michelle McCarthy with 104 Gross, Runner-up was Pauline Lucey with 109 Gross and the Nett Winner was Anne Fitzgerald with 105.  Gent’s Burke Cup: Winner was James Cleary with 92 Gross, Runner-up was Joe Hickey with 97 Gross and the Nett Winner was Francis McNamara with 89.  Congratulations and well done to all.

Tuesday Social Nights:
The next Tuesday social night will be 12th July 2011.  The start time will be 7.15p.m. sharp...  Entry fee will be €3.00 per-person.  Open to all members and bring a friend.  You never know they might like it and might decide to join.

Andy Doyle Trophy:
The above Hillview sponsored competition will take place on Friday 15th July 2011.  The entry fee will be €5.00 per-person.  The start time will be 10.00a.m. with the last card at 7.30p.m.  Come on Ladies and Gent’s it is time to support the competitions.

Ongoing Competition:
A new ongoing competition will start on Monday 4th July and continue until Sunday 31st July.  The entry fee will be €2.00 per-card.  Your best 2 cards will count.  Prizes will be Nett Winner, Runner-up and Gross in both the ladies and gent’s.

The Presentation Night for all the competitions since the Open will be Friday 29th July.  All prize winners are asked to attend. Prizes for the following will be presented: Magner & Crowley Cups, Smithwick’s & Bulmer’s Original Cups, Burke & Casey Cups, Andy Doyle Trophy and the Hackett & Millea Cups.

Club Graded Matchplay’s:
To all players please note that the draws for the above competitions was made.  The first round must be played before 10th July.  Entry fee of €5.00 must be paid before you play.  The best of luck.  The finals will take place on Friday 5th August 2011 at 7.00p.m.

Munster Mixed Foursomes:
The Club qualifying round of the Munster Mixed Foursomes will take place in Hillview on Thursday 21st July 2011 at 7.00p.m.
