Club Lotto & Bingo:
On Saturday 4th June 2011 the Hillview Lotto was worth €2,500.  The numbers drawn were 2-7-12-18 and there was No Winner and there was 5 people with 3 numbers, each received €20.00.
On Saturday 11h June 2011 the Hillview Lotto was worth €2,600.  The numbers drawn were 2-11-19-21 and there was No Winner and there was 7 people with 3 numbers, each received €20.00.
Next weeks Lotto will take place on Saturday 18th June.  The Jackpot will be worth €2,600.  Tickets are €1 each and can be bought from ticket sellers and at the Club Bar.  Buy-ins are also now due, €45.00 for 1 year.  If you’re not in you can’t win.

The club bingo takes place every Monday Night in St. Mary’s Hall in Irishtown, Clonmel.  The books are not expensive and the prizes are good.  Come along and enjoy the evening.  Congratulations to last week’s winner of our Jackpot.

Dom Kavanagh Memorial Trophy:
The above Kavanagh Sponsored Trophy Competition took place in Hillview from Friday 10th June 2011 to Sunday 12th June 2011.  The format was Nett Strokeplay.  Your Best 2 cards to count.  There was a very good turnout for this years open.  The weather was very good on the 1st 2 days and raining the 3rd, but people still played.  Thanks to all our club members and players from as far away as Gowran and Fermoy and the Clubs in the county who supported our open.  Thanks to the Ladies who looked after the Food and Patsy for the bar.  The overall results are as follows:

Tuesday Social Nights:
On Tuesday 7th June 2011 we had another good turnout for our scramble.  We played a 3 ball scramble.  The Nett Winners were Liam McNamara, Anne Fitzgerald & Tom Noonan.  The Nett Runners-up were Rory O’Hanrahan, Tim Shanley & Darren O’Donnell.  The Gross winners were Joseph Hickey, Paddy O’Hanranan & Con Lucey.  The next Tuesday night fun scramble

Magner & Crowley Cups 2011:
The above Ladies and Gent’s Cup will take place on Friday 17th June.  The start time will be 10.30a.m. with the last Card at 7.30p.m.  The entry fee is €5.00 per-person.  Prizes in each will be Nett Winner, Nett Runner-up and Gross Winner.  Open to all club members.  Player of the year points available.  Also in the Hole in One competition.

Munster Strokeplay Qualifiers:
The above qualifying rounds have been switched from Tipp-Hills to Hillview.  They will take place on Sunday 19th June starting at 10.00a.m. sharp.  The Seniors start at 10.00a.m., Inters follow at 10.30a.m. and then the Juniors.

Tennis:
Tennis Senior Open Week:
Open week got off to a great start at the weekend. Some great matches despite some showers sun. Jaco Oosthuysun took Philip Duffy to face last year winner Craig O Neill in the Premier G1/2 singles quarters, while Paul Foley and Teresa Drohan had a win over experienced Tom Dunne and Mary O Hanlon from our good neighbours Castleview.
The club is delighted by the support for its competition and cooperation of players to help bring this competition to closure next Sat 18th afternoon/evening and with its sponsors Ryan motor Power and Pinewood Healthcare. Come along during the week and finals for an enjoyable evening of top class tennis. Full report next week.

These will resume again on Fri 24th. Stating 7.30 we will be delighted to see you and a guest come out for an evening game of tennis.
