Junior Tennis: Hillview Open week:
Last Saturday saw the culmination of a fantastic open week.  The entry was very big with over 160 participants from all over Tipperary, Waterford, Cork, Limerick and Dublin. Many thanks must be given to everybody who took part and made the competition so successful. The standard of play throughout was exemplary and Munster Junior tennis will have many stars of the future from this showing. Alice Murphy won the player of the tournament for all round performance and sporting behaviour. Many thanks to Phil Darrer & Declan Tarrant, tennis captains who ran a great week and who were ably supported by Betty Lonergan and Ella Power and Noel Byrne. Many thanks to the mothers who helped out on the catering front as well.
