On Saturday 16th June 2012 the Hillview Lotto Jackpot was worth €4,600.  The numbers drawn were 4-13-16-24 and there was no Winner.  There were 7 tickets with 3 numbers. Each receives €20.00.  The Next Lotto Draw will take place on Saturday 23rd June.  The Jackpot will be worth €4,700.  Tickets are €1 each and can be bought from ticket sellers and at the Club Bar.  Buy-ins are also available at €45.00 for 1 year.  If you’re not in you can’t win.

The club bingo takes place every Monday night in St. Mary’s Hall in Irishtown, Clonmel.  The books are not expensive and the prizes are good.  Come along and enjoy the evening.

 

The above Gents and Ladies Cups will take place on Friday 22nd June.  The entry Fee will be €5.00 per-person.  The start time will be 11.00am with the last card at 7.45pm.  The prizes will be Overall Nett Winner in both Ladies and Gents.  Overall Nett Runner-up in both Ladies and Gents.  Overall Gross Winner Ladies and Gents.  This is also in the player of the Year competition.  This is also in the hole in one competition.  Come along and have some fun.

 

The qualifying rounds of the National Strokeplay’s will take place in Lakeside (Templemore) on Sunday 1st July next.  All players who entered please make sure you are there on time. Time sheet is on the Pitch and Putt Kiosk.

 

On Tuesday the 12th June just 2 days after the Open, we had another good turnout for our scramble.  The results are as follows: Overall Nett Winners were John Fitzgerald, Pat O’Keeffe & Tom Noonan with 53 1/3.  Overall Nett Runners-up were Christopher Quinn, Celine Dwyer & Norman Rankin with 56 1/3.  The Overall Gross Winners were Joe Hickey, Evelyn Cahill & Frankie Gubbins with 68.  Next Scramble Tuesday 19th starting at 7.15pm.

 

On Saturday 16th June we held our 1st Juvenile Pitch and Putt competition of the Year.  There was a good turnout.  The results are as follows: Overall Winner was Aidan Tobin 63.  Overall Runner-up was Daniel Trass 65 (Back 9). Overall Third was Daniel Foley 65 (Back 9).  The shot of the day Winner was Oisin Ryan who holed out for a birdie from the bunker on the 3rd hole.

The next competition will take place on Saturday 23rd June starting at 2.00p.m Sharp.  The entry fee will be €3.00 per-person.  The competition will be over 18 holes.  Come along and have some fun.  Open to all club members.

 

 

In the National Veterans Finals Hillview had great success.  Des Dillon was Runner-up in the over 45 Men’s Singles.  Des partnered by M. McHugh won the over 45’s Men’s Doubles.  Michael Murray won the over 65 Men’s Doubles with D. McClinchy.  Trudy Kennedy was runner-up in the Ladies over 40’s Doubles.
