On Saturday 21st January 2012 the Hillview Lotto was worth €2,400.  The numbers drawn were 9-10-11-18 and there was no Winner.  There were 12 tickets with 3 numbers and each receives €20.00.

The Next Lotto Draw will take place on Saturday 28th January 2012.  The Jackpot will be worth €2,500.  Tickets are €1 each and can be bought from ticket sellers and at the Club Bar.  Buy-ins are also available at €45.00 for 1 year.  If you’re not in you can’t win.

The club bingo takes place every Monday night in St. Mary’s Hall in Irishtown, Clonmel.  The books are not expensive and the prizes are good.  Come along and enjoy the evening.

 

The Hillview Sports Club Annual General Meeting will take place in the club on Friday 27th January 2012 at 8.00p.m..  All club members are requested to attend.

 

The Tipperary County Spring League of 2012 will commence on Sunday 5th February.  The 1st Round will take place in Hillview on Sunday 5th February.  The 2nd Round will be in Riverdale, Nenagh on Sunday 12th February.  The 3rd Round will be in Tipperary Hills on Sunday 19th February.  The 4th Round will be in Lakeside, Templemore on Sunday 26th February.  The 5th and final Round will be in Larkspur Park, Cashel on Sunday 4th March.  The date and the venue for the final will follow.  The Entry Fee on the day will be €8.00 per-person.  If a player wanted to pay for all 5 weeks on the 1st day of play it will cost €35.00.  Start time will be 9.00a.m with the last card at 2.00p.m.

 

Our Grade 3 team continues to make headway in this competition.  Last week they were unlucky to loose to Larkspur 2-3. Next Sunday 29th they will play Castleview away and will again be away against Douglas on the 2nd of February.

 

We have been experiencing difficulties for some time now with the lights on court 6. The coin mechanism has a fault. Apologies for any inconveniences but the matter is been addressed by the club.

 

A reminder to all that courts that are booked, but will not be used, must be cancelled at the earliest possible time, out of courtesy to all club players. Your attention to this is requested.

 

The new season is slowly approaching after the Christmas recess and with February just down the road and Spring League time, it’s time to dust-off the cobwebs and get the rackets out and into the swing.
