On Sunday 25TH August 2012 the Hillview Lotto Jackpot was worth €5,600.  The numbers drawn were 8-9-17-19 and there was no Winner.  There were 4 tickets with 3 numbers.  Each receives €30.00.

The Next Lotto Draw will take place on Saturday 1st September.  The Jackpot will be worth €5,700.  Tickets are €1 each and can be bought from ticket sellers and at the Club Bar.  Buy-ins are also available at €45.00 for 1 year.  If you’re not in you can’t win.

 

On Tuesday 22nd August we had our biggest turnout this year for our scramble.  The fun scramble was played over 27 holes.  The results are as follows: Overall Nett Winners were Stephen O’Reilly, Jacinta O’Mahony & Breda Howell with 50. Overall Nett Runners-up were Louise Hackett, Paddy O’Hanrahan, Evelyn Cahill & Paddy Noonan with 51 3/4.  Overall Gross Winners were Michael Delaney, Mary Walsh & Aidan Ryan with 65.  The scrambles will continue every Tuesday night at 7.00pm, until the light fades.  Come along and have some fun.

This will take place on Saturday 8th September 2012.  The venue will be Ashgrove in Waterford.  This is open to all club members and friends.  It is a great day out and lots of fun.  The sheet for names is in the pitch and putt kiosk and the hallway.

The above Ladies Crowley Cup took place on Friday 17th August last.  The results are as follows:  Overall Winner was Pauline Lucey with 109.  Overall Runner-up was Laura O’Hanrahan with 116.

The above Gent’s Burke Cup also took place on Friday 17th August 2012.  The results are as follows: Overall Winner was Noel Joyce with 88.  Overall Runner-up was Stephen O’Reilly with 89.  Overall Nett Winner was Tommy White with 83.

On Saturday 1st September there will be a Juvenile competition.  The start time will be 1.30p.m for tips and Competition at 2.00p.m.  The entry fee will be €3.00 per-person.

This is a Tipperary County Board competition.  It will take place in Hillview on Saturday 15th and Sunday 16th September. More details will be in next week’s paper.

The results are as follows: Overall Nett Winners were Pauline Lucey, Con Lucey and John Fitzgerald.

 

Martin Ormond and Mick Prendergast teamed up together to win the over 45’s Men’s Doubles.  Martin Ormond also won the Men’s Singles.  Bryan Byrne teamed up with Geraldine Everett were runner-up in the over 35’s.

Eugene O’Mahony was runner-up in the Grade 3 Men’s Singles.  Grace Durkan & Jaco Oosthuysen won the Premier Mixed Doubles.  Grace Durkan & Louise Coman (Kilfeacle) were runners-up in the Premier Ladies Doubles.  Des Dillon & William Guiry were Winners of the Premier Men’s Doubles.  Michael Moroney Won the Grade 5 Men’s Singles.

Des Dillon was runner-up in the Premier Men’s Singles.  Des Dillon and Trudy Kennedy were Winners of the Premier Mixed Doubles.

Congratulations to Grace Durkan, Jayne O’Gorman and Evan Fitzgerald on their recent performances in Fitz William last week.

Coaching with Paschal for Juniors and Mini Tennis will start back this Friday and Saturday 31st August and 1st September.
