Simon’s Farewell:
Simon Simecek bid farewell to his fellow clubmen, when he announced at the open week presentation, that he was returning home to Czech Republic. He thanked all members who had made him so welcome here in Hillview over the years. Captains Declan & Phil have said Simon will be sadly missed by all at the club. He was a star player on many club teams that toured over Munster and Tipperary and his friendly open personality was a real credit to this big hearted Czech. His departure is imminent and we wish him and his wife Regina and son Max a found farewell. Beag La eile.
