On Saturday 28th January 2012 the Hillview Lotto was worth €2,500.  The numbers drawn were 3-13-17-24 and there was no Winner.  There were 3 tickets with 3 numbers and each receives €40.00.

The Next Lotto Draw will take place on Saturday 4th February 2012.  The Jackpot will be worth €2,600.  Tickets are €1 each and can be bought from ticket sellers and at the Club Bar.  Buy-ins are also available at €45.00 for 1 year.  If you’re not in you can’t win.

The club bingo takes place every Monday night in St. Mary’s Hall in Irishtown, Clonmel.  The books are not expensive and the prizes are good.  Come along and enjoy the evening.

 

The Tipperary County Spring League of 2012 will commence on Sunday 5th February.  The 1st Round will take place in Hillview on Sunday 5th February.  The 2nd Round will be in Riverdale, Nenagh on Sunday 12th February.  The 3rd Round will be in Tipperary Hills on Sunday 19th February.  The 4th Round will be in Lakeside, Templemore on Sunday 26th February.  The 5th and final Round will be in Larkspur Park, Cashel on Sunday 4th March.  The date and the venue for the final will follow.  The Entry Fee on the day will be €8.00 per-person.  If a player wanted to pay for all 5 weeks on the 1st day of play it will cost €35.00.  Start time will be 9.00a.m for Hillview, Tipp-Hills and Larkspur Park, with last card at 11.00am. Start time for Lakeside and Riverdale will be 12.30p.m with the last card at 2.00p.m.

 

A reminder to all that courts that are booked, but will not be used, must be cancelled at the earliest possible time, out of courtesy to all club players. Your attention to this is requested.

 

At Hillview’s AGM on Friday 27th January last, a new President was elected by the members.  The new President is Frankie Gubbins.  This is Frankie’s 1st term in office.  In his speech Frankie said that he was looking forward to the coming year and meeting all the members.  The Hon. Secretary is John Fitzgerald and the Hon. Treasurer is Fiona Walsh. Captains are as follows: Pitch and Putt Joe Hickey, Tennis Dave Barry & Table Tennis Tom Noonan.  I would like to wish Frankie and the officers and all of Management the very best for 2012.
