Club Lotto & Bingo:
On Saturday 29th October 2011 the Hillview Lotto was worth €1,300.  The numbers drawn were 1-8-14-22 and there was no Winner.  There were 3 tickets with 3 numbers each receive €40.00.
Next weeks Lotto will take place on Saturday 5th November.  The Jackpot will now be worth €1,400.  Tickets are €1 each and can be bought from ticket sellers and at the Club Bar.  Buy-ins are also now due, €45.00 for 1 year.  If you’re not in you can’t win.
The club bingo takes place every Monday Night in St. Mary’s Hall in Irishtown, Clonmel.  The books are not expensive and the prizes are good.  Come along and enjoy the evening.

Badminton:
Juvenile Badminton Coaching:
Juvenile Badminton Coaching will start on Friday 5th November 2011.  Coaching will take place from 7.00p.m. until 8.30p.m.  The course will take place over 6 weeks and will cost €30.00.  Payment will be due at the 1st session.  The entry form is on the notice board in the club hallway.  Minimum participants will be 8 and the maximum will be 24.  Any youth interested in coaching please write your name on the sheet provided.  The closing date for entries is Sunday 30th October.  Late applications will be accepted once the course has started and maximum numbers have not been reached.  Any queries can be made to Liam McNamara on 086-1548222.

Tennis:
Club Winter League:
The league will be up and going on Tuesday 8th Nov and Thursday 10th early and late sessions. Team members and captains are asked to check the boards and note their playing time and nights. This is a great team competition to get you out and beat those winter blues! Make the most of it and enjoy. This year we welcome Allen’s of Clonmel as our competition sponsor. Captains Night:
Come one come all please note that the Hillview annual Captains Dinner Dance will take place on Saturday 19th November.  The Start time will be 8.30p.m. with Wine and Cheese reception.  Sit down dinner will start at 9.00p.m. sharp...  The price on tickets is set at €25.00 per-person.  Food is by Eileen Condon.  Music and dance till late.  Come along and enjoy.

Presidents Prize:
On Sunday 30th October last the Club Presidents Prize took place.  The weather wasn’t great but we had a very good turnout on the day.  Thanks to Richie for looking after the course.  Thanks also to all the ladies for the wonderful cakes on the day.  The results are as follows:  The Overall Winner was Ronnie Fitzgerald with a Nett score of 79.  The Overall Runner-up was Paddy O’Hanrahan with 87.  The Ladies Overall Gross Winner was Louise Hackett with 105.  The Gent’s Overall Gross Winner was Davy Hallinan with 98.  The Gent’s Senior Nett went to Rory O’Hanrahan with 93.  The Gent’s Inter Nett went to Danny Gibbons with 92.  The Gent’s Junior Nett went to Francis McNamara with 91.  The Ladies 0 to 10 Nett went to Margaret Slattery with 98.  The Ladies 11 to 18 Nett went to Laura O’Hanrahan with 98.  Congratulations to all the winners.

Paddy Power Scramble:
On Sunday 6TH November 2011 there will be a 36 holes 3 ball scramble.  This is in honour of the late Paddy Power.  The entry sheet is on the notice board in the club hallway.  The closing date for entries will be Friday 4th November at 8.30p.m.  The Entry fee will be €5.00 per-person.  Come on Ladies, Gents, put your name down and have some fun.  This competition is sponsored.
