MAY 2006

All Ireland Club Finals
Our Division 2 mixed team traveled to Limerick at the weekend to represent Munster in the all Ireland Club Finals. Their first game was against Connaught where they were narrowly defeated by 4 games to 3 games. Their next opposition was against Leinster; Hillview went out with great determination to try and claim victory but were very unlucky and in a very hard fought game, were just pipped at the post by 4 games to 3 games. On the day the whole team played outstanding and put up a great fight and were very unlucky not claim victory. Congratulations once again to Trudy Kennedy (captain), Ciara O’Donoghue, Sarah Walsh, Declan Tarrant, Liam McNamara, Bryan Byrne and Conor Walsh.

APRIL 2006

Division 2 Munster Mixed League
Congratulations to our Division 2 mixed team - Trudy Kennedy, Ciara O’Donoghue, Sarah Walsh, Declan Tarrant, Liam McNamara, Bryan Byrne and Conor Walsh who had a great win over Cork 4-3 and Kerry 6-1 to claim the Division 2 Munster Mixed League title. The team will now represent Munster in the All- Ireland Club Finals at the weekend in UL, Limerick. Well done and best of luck to all.

Also our Division 2 team had a great win over Gurteen in the final of the Division 2 Cup. Well done to Therese Heffernan, Sarah Walsh, Ciara O’Donoghue, Aidan Barry, Liam McNamara and Conor Walsh.

Tipperary Singles Champions
Congratulations to Liam McNamara on
winning County Division 2 Singles in Roscrea last week. Liam was also runner-up in Division 1 Singles.
Well done to Shane Barry who won County Division 4 Singles title on the same day.

Division 1 League Final
Hillview did very well to get to the final of the League . However on the day they were beaten by a very strong Ballcommon team.
