Tuesday night Scrambles
The Tuesday night Scrambles resumes this Tuesday 13th May. Please note the Magnier & Crowley Cup will be held on Tuesday 20th May. Play commences from 2.00pm onwards. The Match sheets are up for the Gents Smithwicks & Ladies.

Captains Prize
Last Sunday, May 4th, Noel Prendergast hosted his club Captains Prize. The beautiful weather tuned out a good crowd and great scoring. In the women's section Margaret Slattery destroyed the field for an empathic victory. In the men's section, young Thomas Power held his nerve and produced some excellent pitch and putt to hold off the challenge off Stephen White. Other prize winners on the day were, Pauline Lucey, Kathleen Shanley, Joan Donlon, Ann Fitzgerald, Paula Quinn, Stephen White, Noel Joyce, Jason McNamara, Davy Hallinan, David and Jason Fallon and the cowboy Tom Noonan. My apologies if I've left someone out. The club would also like to thank Ritchie for having the course in excellent condition on the day.
Templemore Lakeside Scratch Cup
May Bank holiday Monday saw a large group of our members traveling to Templemore for the Lakeside Scratch Cup. Young Stephen O Reilly took home third prize after a great performance. James Cleary won the last 18 and Davy Hallinan took third in the Junior section. Stephen, James and Noel Joyce also took home the team prize.

 

Club Membership
There was  a good turn out for the first major competition of the season. The Gents winner was Stephen O'Reilly and Noel Joyce won the gross prize. Kathleen Shanley took the Ladies prize with Pauline Lucey taking the gross.

Munster Strokeplay
Congratulations to Noel Joyce, Rory O'Hanrahan and Davy Hallinan who beat stiff competition to qualify for the Munster Strokeplay Championships in their respective grades.

Tuesday Night Scramble
The Tuesday night scrambles will resume this week at 7pm. All players welcome.

May 2nd 2008

Captain's Prize
The Captain's Prize will take place this Sunday May 4th. Play begins at 9am and last card is 3pm. The play off will begin at 6.30pm. Hopefully this competition will have a good attendance in support of our captain Noel Prendergast.

Presentation of Prizes
There will be a presentation of prizes - for all recent Pitch and Putt competitions - in the clubhouse on Sunday night May 4th at 9.30pm.
